5. Defective Merchandise Return for Replacement - Defective items will be replaced or repaired at our discretion, within the terms and limits of the Manufacturer's warranty. RMA service does not include returns for credit or refunds.
- RMA returns will be thoroughly tested as to all complaints and then returned back to the customer after service. In the event an item of defective merchandise cannot be repaired, ECS reserves the right to replace it with a refurnished product.
- ECS MUST receives all returns before a replacement can be released. NO CROSS SHIPPING, NO EXCEPTIONS!
- For models which are no longer in stock, ECS may, at its own option (1) repair or replace the product with a similar model, or (2) give the customer in-house credit for the value of the lesser of (a) ECS’s estimate of the fair market value of the product; or (b) the depreciated value of the product, with depreciation calculated on a straight line basis over three years from the original wholesale purchase price.
Note: Physical damage, mishandling, mis-use, illegal modifications, no serial number and/or missing parts will automatically void the warranty. All items MUST be returned properly packaged and protected. Any item(s) returned in envelopes will void the warranty!
