 RMA Policy - Warranty Terms and Conditions
 

**PCCHIPS Warranty is offered to direct customers with valid PCCHIPS or ECS invoice only!**

   
 

   
All PCCHIPS mainboards are covered on parts and labor against defective product under normal working conditions. Click here for warranty details.

Defective product(s) can be returned to Elitegroup Computer Systems, Inc. (ECS) by the following procedure:
 
  1. To return products for warranty service, you must first obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number from ECS RMA Department. A RMA Request Form can be downloaded here. To obtain a RMA number from us, please fax or email completed RMA Request Form to us. Fax to ECS RMA Department at 510-771-0297 or email to rmaservice@ecsusa.com.
 
  2. A RMA Number is valid for twenty-one (21) days from the date of issuance. Accordingly, please ship your items as soon as possible.
 
  3. All return items must have a RMA label clearly posted on the outside of each package. Any package not exhibiting a RMA number will be refused. Shipping charges should be prepaid, and no COD will be accepted.
 
 

4. Credit Return Requirements

  • Proper packaging in the original carton, along with the original packaging materials is required.
  • Please return all manuals, cables, CDs and accessories.
  • Please provide a description of each problem(s).

 
 

5. Defective Merchandise Return for Replacement

  • Defective items will be replaced or repaired at our discretion, within the terms and limits of the Manufacturer's warranty. RMA service does not include returns for credit or refunds.
  • RMA returns will be thoroughly tested as to all complaints and then returned back to the customer after service. In the event an item of defective merchandise cannot be repaired, ECS reserves the right to replace it with a refurnished product.
  • ECS MUST receives all returns before a replacement can be released. NO CROSS SHIPPING, NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • For models which are no longer in stock, ECS may, at its own option (1) repair or replace the product with a similar model, or (2) give the customer in-house credit for the value of the lesser of (a) ECS’s estimate of the fair market value of the product; or (b) the depreciated value of the product, with depreciation calculated on a straight line basis over three years from the original wholesale purchase price.

Note: Physical damage, mishandling, mis-use, illegal modifications, no serial number and/or missing parts will automatically void the warranty. All items MUST be returned properly packaged and protected. Any item(s) returned in envelopes will void the warranty!
 

 

6. Discrepancies in Shipments

  • ECS customer service representatives will inform customers if any discrepancy is found in the category and / or quantity of items received. All non-PCCHIPS products will be sent back to customers without further notice.
  • Options for Non-Direct and Out-of-Warranty Customers
    • We recommend you buy from our authorized distributors to ensure warranty coverage. We have seen that some websites are selling phased-out products, out-of-warranty products, and refurbished products at below market price. Please be aware that if you purchase any of the above-mentioned products, you do so at your own risk.
    • We, as a manufacturer’s representative, will support products that are under the manufacturer’s warranty. If the products you have are out-of-warranty, phased-out, or damaged and you choose to have us service your product, the cost of service is $50 to repair/refurbish (apply for single Motherboard or Video Card) and one-way ground freight. Usually product will ship within 15 business days. Please contact us at rmaservice@ecsusa.com for instructions as to how to proceed. We will email you a RMA# with details of how and where to ship your product after we receive your payment.
